Probably, compounded by Brighton not being down to 10 by the time they scored.

Possibly but also think in hindsight the break for the cup came at a bad time as well. Stunted any momentum we were gathering after the Chelsea and Fulham results (plus the Arsenal match where it looked like we’d found our grit and resilience again).
Meant we had to go again from a standing start against Brighton which probably didn’t help. |  |
