Attendances Next Season 18:09 - Jul 24 with 1470 viewsLA_Tractor_Boy

I reckon Gamechanger and MA have overestimated the demand for tickets next season, especially Grade B fixtures that are moved for TV.

Yes GC have successfully rebuilt our football club, but historically when have we ever sold out in the Championship (apart from 'big' matches)?

Ignoring concessions, prices for Grade B fixtures range from £34 to £55. Assuming there are approx. 20,000 ST holders, I don't think we'll sell 8,000 odd match tickets at those prices.

I think the opposite. So many people, particularly family groups, couldn't get to games last year and generally interest is high in the county.

23/24 season was the last time I think.

Yep, tickets were like gold dust. I was relying on returns for home games and away matches rarer than hen’s teeth. It’ll be the same this year. We’ve had too many years of crap and boredom to let a little relegation put people off. The only way demand will drop is if we tank.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I don't think we sold out for many matches that season. Pretty sure there were always RV seats available.

Average attendance was 28,845, often not aided by away fans. We sold out the home sections loads from memory. Maybe tickets became available again in the couple of days prior to matches due to returns etc., can't attest to that.

So will non-members be able to buy any tickets this year?

Last year, even tickets available on the day you had to have a membership to purchase.

The amount of reminder emails I’ve been sent to renew my super blues membership, I would suggest that the take up for memberships is not quite where they want it to be after the first week…

Guess we’ll average around 27k ish. Which, in the history of the club, is right up there.

It costs nothing to send an email.

It potentially earns them £40.

They would've sent you emails no matter what, just like Amazon and the like, but you wouldn't suggest they're struggling.

Poll: So, how many league wins did you see in person?

If we start well we will sell out. It's that simple.

I haven't had any - perhaps they don't want me to renew
