I'd argue that though disappointing to lose him, as he clearly was a class above, he will be the one we regret losing the least from the list of players that have left.
He was awesome when available, and although his fitness was much better than his Utd/Villa careers, he was still missing from the squad due to fitness issues far too often. I'd much rather a player that is 85-90% the quality of player of Axel that's available for 90% of games than an exceptional player that's available only 50% of the time. |  | | |
