I can’t glaze over the performance, was poor, and at times lacked real quality and confidence - nowhere near good enough if you want to be pushing the top end of the division, KMc will know that.

The first half, once our midfield has wrestled control, was brilliant and a real insight of what could happen if things click. The second half hadn't really got going before the penalty, which was a defensive nightmare, as was the second.
Previously I felt the issue with us defensively was a weak midfield. Now it feels like we have an upper hand there, but look really shaky at the back. Woolfenden deserves a chance, but more likely is he gets sold and we bring another CB in. Perhaps today will result in a revised bid for Caceres. |  |
