If we end up having to play someone rightfooted at LB then I wonder if Greaves comes back in so we have someone on the left side playing on their natural foot. Hard on Kipre maybe but gives us a bit better balance.

In his post-match interview Hirst seemed fairly convinced he'd be fine to play Tuesday.

I can see that being the back 4 and midfield, there's no point in risking Davis long term and Taylor has played a lot of minutes from the cold recently, but I don't think he'll make wholesale changes to the front 4. Philogene has been excellent at home, Walle Egeli is just finding his feet, Hirst has just got himself a confidence boosting brace and seemed very confident in his post match interview that he's good to go on Tuesday.

He does like a tinker. Injuries might force it, but I hope he sticks with Matusiwa and Taylor. Thst partnership needs to grow and it's an mportant part of the team. Taylor has spent so much time on the sidelines that his mileage is low and surely he can handle a 3 game week. No one questions Matusiwa not being able to handle it.
It's time for Taylor to either sink or swim. This is his chance.
I do expect Cajuste to come in, though... because that's a Kieran thing. Hes a little tinkerer. Momentum is important now so I hope he keeps tinkering to a minimum.

Hirst seems very confident of being fit for Tuesday according to his quotes in the EADT. We need to manage him carefully but sounds like he will be in the squad. Maybe to play first hour or maybe as an option from the bench. I'd rest Davis if he's not 100%, a lot of games between now and January.

I think Hirst needs to be managed slightly differently because he has a track record for being out for significant periods with injury. That said I’d be keen for him to play Tuesday as his confidence will be up. We have also got another international break coming up which will help some of the squad

Pointless, boring nonsense. Just stop qualifying matches and put all the top nations with big TV audiences automatically in the Finals ( they'll be there anyway) and stop all this pretence of having to try to qualify.

On the balance of it, probably more likely Hirst starts Tuesday (just said it was cramp) and Azon back on Saturday.

I'd be pretty surprised if we didn't see Clarke & Cajuste from the start. Leaving Philogene on until the 84th min in a game already won suggests that he's going to continue to split the minutes in these busy weeks.

I wouldn’t start Cajuste. Taylor and Azor seems to be working well so personally I’d leave them to build their partnership
