Philogene to Clarke in the middle to Egeli, GOAL!
All three of those players have goal involvements in them. Want to see more of them together behind the striker. Must find a way to utilise both Philogene **and** Clarke, they're too good to be supersubs at this level. They're joint top scorers. Clarke is more suited to central role, as he plays with his head up for a pass like we saw at the end. KM must start producing a better team from this squad! It was an assist. So many times this season, we've thrashed at shots instead of an easy assist. Eg McAteer at Oxford. That's why we're bottom of the Big Chances Missed table by a mile:

Nunez has been the pick of our regular central 10s, but nobody has grabbed the jersey. I think Clarke there is worth a shot. None of them are 10s. Nunez has always done his best work as a deeper midfielder, Philogene and Clarke are out and out wingers. Short of Walle Egeli getting a go there, we just don't have a natural 10 now. Arguably last season we had about 4 Chaplin, Broady, Omari and the South American geezer. | | | |
