Definitely need to be sanctioned. Will be a sorry fine though. Should be a transfer embargo for January instead.

I'm sure the national reporters who pissed their pants last time might be a bit quieter this time round.

I presume that Blackburn will be raging at the game not being awarded to them after being abandoned. 1-0 with 62 mins played. As a principle it’s no different to the 10-15 mins left when our game was abandoned. Tears, tantrums, toys out of the pram etc etc.

As it goes, they should forfeit the game, just as they should have ours. If in 2025 they cannot produce a playable pitch it’s a sorry state of affairs.

At the very least they have gained advantage investing in the team and not the pitch so should face a transfer embargo until they sort it out. Oh and they should pay all Wednesday’s expenses plus wages for the week. Only fair.

Likely that just like us, Wednesday as a club along with their travelling fans will have to fork out financially to travel back to Ewood park for a rearranged game. Unacceptable that a club who’s standing is in the Second tier of English football is unable to provide a pitch suitable for the very purpose of playing football. They clearly haven’t learnt anything from the abandoned game against us, compensation to Wednesday along with a points deduction I would hope.

it's got to be a points deduction surely, it's blatant incompetence.

what have they done since our game to rectify the situation?

reimburse every wednesday fan and a forfeited game should be the minimum
