Just because we've scored enough runs to win, doesn't mean we've batted well! We've done just enough, against some poor sides. I'm not expecting us to be knocking teams out of the park, but we have shown zero authority in any games in the tournament up to now. Today looks to be going exactly the same way. | | | |

I think it’s encouraging we’ve got so far with zero batting input from Butler and Bethell too, they must surely come to the party sometime.
Feels like there hasn’t been a team batting performance just one or maybe two great innings filled in with bits and pieces, if the team fully fires, could be handy. Haven’t been too many high scores for any teams in the tournament.

Was thinking just that, MM always wanted 7 out of 10 players - which seemed to result in mid table. Really need regular 8’s and 9’s with some 7’s for top of the table. We seem to have a number of players - thinking Furlong for instance who will put in an 8 followed by a 5. Not many games when every player has clicked. | |
