I am hugely disappointed and angry. Mark Ashton must have sanctioned that awful press release and this circus of an event. It’s a PR disaster and a stain on our club. Ashton shame on you. Idiocy.
Zero tolerance for Farage and Reform they are dangerous for this country, period.
The club, us fans and manager/players are going to be ridiculed by the wider football community, other clubs fans and Norwich will/are having a field day.
There is a significant risk it will affect this season, and the club/community bond. Both of which were doing well.
But I do not think McKenna or the players deserve to be caught up in this, I don’t think McKenna supports Farage. I don’t think players would condone that man or this party of bigots. So let’s vent at the club off field management and Ashton, let’s continue to show our disgust. But let’s back the boys, because the away ends and the media are gunning for us.

I’ve had this horrible feeling all season something is not all well behind the scenes of this club, I don’t think this happens 2 years ago when we were riding a crest of a wave back to the premier league..I think it felt everything 2 years ago was positive from the club, so why is this happening now. What has changed in the decision making at the club? You can delegate responsibility but not accountability so who is accountable?
It’s not McKenna, he is accountable for the players on the pitch

I have my doubts as to whether Ashton actually “sanctioned” this. I doubt that the Chairman would be informed about private stadium tours. But I am reasonably sure that someone knew that someone associated with Reform made the booking. However since the story broke the club has handled ito very badly , and Ashton has to take responsability for that. He needs to meke a personal statement. | | | |

I despise a pretty much everything that Farage stands for and I do agree that he is openly racist. However, I am not sure there is any evidence that he openly has "racial purity" standards that half our team wouldn't meet. I think Farage has two standards for Johnny Foreigner based on how much money they have. Ultimately, I believe his demonisation of foreigners is simply a vehicle to promote his politics of benefits for the rich and reducing standards for the poor. |  |
