Mainly agree but Chelsea are a bit of an exception.
Lots of young players on long contracts, and relatively low wages (still relatively high for us). There’s loan potential in their squad though given how many they’ve stockpiled.
Said it on another thread, Disasi would be a brilliant recruit. Lavia too if he were available. |  |

Everton aren't the kind of club that can wash their hands of £30m+, he'll stay at the club and probably be better for a tough year. Nothing has been agreed for Grealish to return and Tyrique George is a loan with an option, he's only played about 8 games, all but 1 as a sub, I'd be surprised if they take that option.
He's all flair and no real end product anyway, not every player with floppy hair and tiny shinpads can be Jack Clarke. |  | | |

We needed Axel cover he has played at the top levels in the prem, for England and abroad. On the face of it very decent cover… [Post edited 11 May 9:40]

Johnson is not up to playing that role is what is tells you. You have to be a decent 1 v 1 and solid defender, with some attacking qualities. He can attack but can’t defend anywhere near well enough | |

Disasi has been excellent for West Ham and fully put himself back in the wider PL market, I think. Have read that Leeds are very keen. Think it may be one out of our price range, adding up fee + wages. WH have a £25m option if they stay up. |  | | |
