Anyone remember that "Play It Safe" book from the 80s? on 21:16 - Jun 26 by ITFC_Forever
Yep, and there was a tv series on Sundays at around 5pm to accompany the book.
Every time I climbed the stairs to my Grandma's flat as a kid, I had visions of the boy who had fallen 3 flights of stairs with a bloated,.bruised face. It was an horrific book, I can't believe they published it!
Yeah I do. Growing up in Norfolk I needed guidance to stop myself from pouring boiling water on my face out of boredom. Before you start, born in Bury 😆
Late night on either BBC Northern Ireland ot ITV Ulster they still show ( or until recently showed) a public information ad about not coming home from the pub p1ss3d and putting the chip fryer on and burning down the house.
It literally goes ' men! When returning from the pub bladdered after a proper session don't put on the chipper and then full asleep p1ssed and burn all the family to death'.
