This is good - get the Norwich fans all excited that they will have a Hollywood A-Lister backing them like Wrexham only for those hopes to crash and burn when they realise:
- A lot of the $$ going into Wrexham is off the back of the Disney show and the international exposure it gets. That ship has sailed and there won't be interest in creating an inferior rip off.
- Jackman is worth $100-150m; Reynolds and McIheney are worth $400m + and even they couldn't fund the football club once they got out of League 2
- The appeal to the non-football fan of the Wrexham story is the rags to riches tale. No one is going to care about a former yo-yo club struggling with mid table mediocrity. | | | |
