Winger Jaime Peters won his 14th cap as Canada put in an impressive performance in defeat as they lost 3-2 to Brazil in Seattle overnight. Peters came on as an 80th minute substitute to win his first cap since November 2006.

Real Madrid's Robinho grabbed the winner in the 63rd minute after Canada had twice drawn level with the South Americans.

Peters, who spent the final few months of the season on loan at Yeovil Town, will hope to win a starting role in Wednesday's friendly against Panama in Fort Lauderdale.

The games are preparation for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Saint Vincent and Grenadines.
