Town have dismissed this morning's newspaper report claiming that manager Roy Keane was set to be sacked as "complete and utter rubbish".

A club spokesman said: "Roy was given the owner’s full backing last month and nothing at all has changed since then."

NW10 ..."teams above us have lost hell of a lot more " SO WHAT it also means they have won hell of a lot more as they have more points and are above us. The last time i looked you can still get relegated even if you dont lose many games .

Top those saying a new manager would condemn us to relegation - firstly he could do no worse , secondly do you think Barnsley fans are thinking that after getting Robins in they have climbed from the bottom to mid table spending no money and without the gelling period

So there were Sunday meetings at the club and some idiot decided that means Keane is about to be sacked. Surely the meetings couldn't have been about the fact that we have just lost the only decent keeper on our books? Meanwhile there's no point improving the defense if the rest of the team don't play football anyway

No one is happy with the situation we are in .. well maybe the Keane bashers who love to spend so much time posting absolute crap on this forum are, but then most of us don't count you as loyal, honest Town fans. So thank you for your negative bulls**t, now pls F**K off

LoIITFC 32 years a town fan, no long I know but 32 years. Season ticket holder in Lower Sir Bobby for 6 years, pripor to that 12 years service in the TA so sort unfair on the wife and children to do football as well.

Most of the posts on here are very factual 17 games 1 win second from bottom requiring 8 points to get OUT of relagation zone, spent £8million quid.

Not crap facts.

I'm not into sacking/changing managers but where RK is concerned I make a definite exception. I was never calling for Jim's head or any other manager's head for that matter. I agree there is nothing wrong with our squad; it is the malevolent, egoistic, sensationalist, piss-poor, pathetic yob excuse for a manager that we currently have that is putting the fear of God into the team - they don't know where they are from one week to the next and don't know if they are coming or going. How can they be expected to perform at their best with somebody like RK at the helm? Tell me. How anybody can say that sacking the manager will cause instability is obviously blind because we have instability now in abundance all courtesy of RK. 1 win in 17, diffrent 11 every match, poor squad selection, poor substitutions, pathetic excuses to the press, etc, etc.

Sacking Keane now would not or could not add to the damage already done to this club - we need a new manager and quick before the rot gets so deeply imbeded that the whole thing comes toppling down. Mr keane is like a termite to this club, and a lot of us are just happy to sit back and watch him do it -week in, week out. I don't call that supporting ITFC - I call it raving lunacy and disrepectful of our club's glorious achievements, high-standing and respect of the past.

Well you obviously aint read all my posts I have put manier constructive point on here! I will contuinue to put KEANE OUT at the end of my posts on here until he is gone.

You want constructive critisism???? I wont go into details on these but He has handled the following payers really poorly that any decent manager with a bit of experience woud not have done.
D Wright
Garvan
R Wright
Macauley
Rhodes
They way in which each of the above player was dealt with was a shambles and shows exactly how he is as a man and a manager.

OUR RESULTS/POSITION

Thhe fact he does fcuk all in training

His comments to the media about everything form Ireland to not given penalties (which would not have effected the scorleline if given)

His failure to, after 6 months, sort out his squad. - He buys a right back and right mid when they were arguably our best positions from last year.

His failure to find a best 11 and stick with it - you may argue that we dont have a best 11 as we need more signings, cmon batties he has had 6 months and a whole pre season to sort it out.

His sh*t purchases
Priskin
Delaney
Healy
Lee MArtin
ALL A FCUKIN WASTE OF MONEY

His failure to land a decent C/B and a striker

Making several promises he cant kee.

The whole regeim here is a joke with him at the club. We are a laughing stock at the moment because f what hje SINGLE HANDEDLY has done.

A new manager does into gaurantee survival but I would rather follow a new manager into League 1 that stay with Keane.

KEANE OUT KEANE OUT KEANE OUT KEANE OUT KEANE OUT KEANE OUT KEANE OUT

OR PERHAPS THE FACT HE IS PROB THE HIGHEST PAID MANAGER IN THE LEAGUE, YET DOES THE SH*TEST JOB.

Get real boys he is cr*p and does not deserve to manage a club of our stature

KEANE OUT

Let's give him the next 3 games. No losses in 6 & defo a better defence (albeit that he has now got Wright back in & is being decent to big Mac which we all told him 3 months ago!). If we get a win or 2 on the road, or even play well or score a few, it's reprieve. if not, I'd like to snap up George B (minus Butcher) before the window opens & then the building of a proper, well rounded & good to watch side can begin . . . . & we'd all give him time to do it because this fiasco will take some recovery from & he has a long & proven record. Burley's Barmy Army! Happy days

If any new bloke hasn't got a team promoted from the champinonship (or old div 1) into the prem, or isnt a proven prem manager (they wont come anyway) throw the CV away. The thought of Ince or Darren Ferguson or Phil Parkinson etc. Please don't even apply. The time for gambles is over.

Thank you CGS, thats all i was looking for and you have raised some valid points, have to agree with priskin comment also...look my view is that i dont want us to be a club that shoots managers down as soon as we have a bad run, and i think that we will turn it round, if not then shoot me down.

My view of keane isn't one i would go around shouting about, I think he is too bullish, lacks "the ferguson arm over shoulder" and generally could just do with chilling out!!

hahah sweet Hype i'm turning into somewhat of a fans favourite on here.....

It was only a matter of time.

Does it not p*ss you offthat he gets paid alot more than anyone else in this league and does fcuk all to earn his money. I do my job bloody well yet I earn a damn site lessthan him.

If my figures dropped to the equivilant of 2nd bottom i'd be sacked so its only fair!

Any other manager I would agree that give him until the new year but with this tosspiece its different he dont even seem to be trying and is happy not winning then coming out with the same old excuses!

When Jim Magilton first went to QPR he said he ineherited a stronger squad and we all blasted him because it was his squad (idiot), is it not the same with keane saying we lacked this, or that when it is all his choosings???????

Unfortunately what people say on here makes no difference

Evans has obviously spent a stack of his cash on Keane coming here and i wouldnt think he would let him go with a golden handshake of a few million quid.

The guy is going no where............

Millsey added 16:07 - Nov 23
Come on you lot, get behind the team and the manager, look what's happened to Jim since he was forced to be sacked thanks to the morons who moaned and groaned week in week out. Fergie was nearly sacked after a poor start at MU??? rest is history.

byebyesheepshanks added 16:11 - Nov 23
Come on Millsey - How can you compare RK to Alex Ferguson? He'd already won Euro & domestic titles with Aberdeen etc Oh, & he didn't have a 14% win rate!! A totally crazy arguement.

As for you Truth baby my old friend, if we're in the bottom 3 by Christmas you promised i could call you a plank!! Only a month to go. T I M B E R!

byebyesheepshanks added 16:14 - Nov 23
Oh Yeah tuthy baby, it's worth noting that Burley, Curbs would be free (No compensation to another club). That should be considered & offset when paying Keano's top up to his £27m to dissappear.

Sir Alex Ferguson had WON 9 domestic & WON 2 European cup comps BEFORE he even became Man U manager. (His win record was also well over 50%) How can you compare having patience in him to having patiencwe in Roy Keane! Ridiculous.

UEFA81 added 16:19 - Nov 23
byebyesheepshanks - you ask how can you compare Alex Ferguson to RK?

The answer is simple:- they both sit on their fat a*ses all match, chewing spearmint like they have a contract with Wrigleys or something.

Are you also telling me that Fegie don't watch Countdown when he should be taking training?!
