Town have dismissed this morning's newspaper report claiming that manager Roy Keane was set to be sacked as "complete and utter rubbish".

A club spokesman said: "Roy was given the owner’s full backing last month and nothing at all has changed since then."

I wonder how many changes he'll make yet again to this saturdays team? (assuming we're still stuck with him).

This is the main reason why I do not have any faith in him - He's been here 7 months and "STILL" doesn't know his best team!

For the record, we're actually playing on Sunday.

Well somethings got to change...... Keanes running out of time, the problem is the longer Keane stays & things don't turn round, the harder it will be for any new manager coming in to do anything about our plight. If Keane fails to land a new striker or 2 by the end of the next transfer window, it won't matter whose in charge coz they cant be expected to work miracles!

Come on who reads the papers and believes anything they read - i don't read them now, i got a free copy of the star at the match on Saturday and did not look at it. RK will sort the issue just let him get on with it

Are you ready for the numbers game?

13 (points)
16 (games)
8 mil (down the drain on muppets)
0 (players morale)
27 (million why RK don't give a toss)

The number we are trying to get is 22 (worst position ITFC have been in for 40 years!)

I liek that numbers game byebyesheepshanks - it might show some on here hw to get into the real world..
or how about........

0 - chance of winning on saturday
0 chance of attracting a decent striker to play for RK
0 - chance of getting a decent CB in
0 - chance of any of his signings playing well
0 - chance of some of the people on here waking up and smelling the coffee.

As much as I hate to say it (and yes I hate saying it)

WITH RK AS MANAGER WE ARE SH*T

99 - chance of getting some dodgy 'KEANO' response to this post.

The day roy keane gets the sack

PRICELESS

I am more than happy to add my name to the list of those who would like to see Roy Keane Leave our club. This is now past a joke and we are in a lot of trouble. We have to wake up and accept that we have made a terrible mistake.

Bring back George Burley

Probably all crap newspaper talk but there is never any smoke without fire.

No one can deny that, ok he may well have a job now but unless he wins against Cardiff there will be a very strong chance he will be given the shove.

I'd love to tell him personally what I think of him

One more thing to the Roy Keane "devotees". What has Roy Keane done to justify your overwhelming support? Moved up the table from 24th to 23rd? This is not meant to demean any of you but I just don't get it???

I want to know why Keane deserves to stay from one of you lovers out there. and i dont want any of these answers.
1. we shouldnt sack a manager so early (because it isnt early no more)
or
2. he needs more time (hes had enough time)
i know football isnt like a day to day business but how long would a manager last who bullys their staff, has wasted 8million, has sucseeded once in 17 tasks.
He was bought in to win games, he hasnt done that, yes we hve drawn alot but that is because we dont have any killer instinct
cough cough Jordan Rhodes cough cough
