Does anyone know how much Town actually make for each gig it puts on...I assume it's a flat fee the promo company pay for use of the stadium and facilities, or is there a link to attendance...? Just curious. And clearly bored.

The gig is put on by a promoter who takes a chance on the ticket sales. He hires the stadium for a flat fee, agrees a fee with the performer, then tries to make his money back on ticket sales, and then some profit on top. I've done gigs in a similar way, except the venue was a lot smaller and the promoter wasn't risking so much cash! I'd imagine on Pink he'll get his money back, and some. 22000 sold so far at £50 a head is £1.1mil. I'd say he's pretty safe. Maybe he could buy us Torres out of the leftovers???

The club will do quite well out of it as well. I believe they get a small % of the merchendice sales etc?
