![]() Wednesday, 10th Mar 2010 21:44 Goals from Reggie Lambe (pictured), Ronan Murray (pen) and Jamie Griffiths gave the Blues’ reserves a 3-0 victory at Bury Town in their LB Group Suffolk FA Premier Cup semi-final. The Bermudian opened the scoring in the 22nd minute converting a cross from Ronan Murray. The Republic of Ireland U19 international added the second on 58 from the penalty spot after being felled inside the area. Sub Jamie Griffiths completed the scoring in the 82nd minute, beating the keeper with a neat lob. It was an impressive team performance from the young Blues, who were the better side throughout despite Bury’s battling. Central defenders Troy Brown and Tom Eastman were again amongst the better performers, but no Town player had a bad game. In the final on a date yet to be set, the Blues will play the winners of the Kirkley and Pakefield-Needham Market semi-final, which was also played tonight. Reserves: McLoughlin, Ainsley, Brown, Eastman, Dunbar, Hyam, Upson, Carson (Griffiths 46), Cawley, Lambe, Murray (Lavery 80). Subs: Winstone, McKeown, Yao. Thanks to Andy Pearl.
