Lambe Sacrificed Friday, 6th May 2011 11:28
Town have released Bermudian international winger Reggie Lambe. The 20-year-old, who is currently on loan at Bristol Rovers, joined the academy from school having been spotted by an associate of former director Holly Bellingham and has been a professional for the last two seasons.
Boss Paul Jewell told the club site: "I have spoken to Reggie and we wish him all the best for the future."
Lambe made his debut in the Carling Cup victory over Shrewsbury last season and went on to make four more starts in the same competition as well as two Championship appearances as a sub.

Lets hope Jewell doesn't get Lambasted for this decision. He could have been the wolf in sheeps clothing we were after.

He wasn't a great finisher. Always seemed to shank them wide

"Chuck Does Roundhouse on Town" would be ideal if he signs a new contract....

Good luck to him in the future but i think it was for the best, he wasnt doing anything whilst here really and he needs a new start, and apparently he was on ÂŁ250,000 a year so hopefully that can go towards a new player.

Lambe says baa baa to Town. Shame we couldn't sell him and fleece someone by pulling the wool over their eyes.

Blue1 Good call - yes Norris , Peters both vertically challenged ..No bad thing we are looking at that - unless you are Maradona or Messi you may struggle at highest level

Building a team? We seem to be just carving one up at the moment. i'm not having a go, but its a bit early to say we are building a team of giants when we have not signed anyone yet!

Saw him in the pre season friendly at yarmouth, couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo that day, got subbed at half time.

And the trouble with Reggie was that he was easily sheperded by the opposing defence.

I hope he didn't get into a stew about it.

Just reading a twit from Reggie on Twitter..."Sad to be released from the club i been at for such a long time but i guess my time was up. Hope them all the best for the future." Good to see he has taken it well (unlike others) and wishes us the best, hope he finds a new club ASAP and gets some good first team experience.
