Drury in for Injured Hyam
Saturday, 1st Dec 2012 14:06

Andy Drury replacing the injured Luke Hyam is the only change to Mick McCarthy’s side taking on Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium today. The 21-year-old midfielder suffered a calf injury in the victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday and didn’t travel with the squad.

With Drury stepping up into the team, Josh Carson takes his place amongst the substitutes.

Former Bolton midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker misses out on facing his old club due to his hamstring injury. The Bolton side includes ex-Blues loanee Keith Andrews. Full match preview here.

Town: Henderson, Orr, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell, Edwards, N'Daw, Drury, Martin, Campbell, Barnett. Subs: Loach, Hewitt, Higginbotham, Emmanuel-Thomas, Carson, Murphy, Chopra.

Bolton: Bogdan, Mears, Ricketts, Knight, Alonso, Spearing, Andrews, Eagles, M Davies, Ngog, K Davies. Subs: Lonergan, Mills, Ream, Pratley, Afobe, Chung-Yong, Butterfield.

Great! I thought they (the staff) were confident he would be fit, growing problem with Luke he is injury prone. Not to sure if we have to much creativity in centre midfield without him.

TimmyH - Yeah, boo backroom staff for daring to be optimistic. And I've never heard Hyam touted as a creative midfielder before! You been drinking?

C'mon lads prove to us that Tuesday night was not a once off! I'd gladly take a point today! Facing a strong team again today well on paper anyway. Forest were terrible on Tuesday night yey if SHaros strike off the bar went in it could have been a very different game. Still unsure about the defence. COYB

Watching on the BBC, delighted we'd equalised, nervously watching to see if we'd hold out for a point. Gaby says 'and a late goal at The Reebok' and I automatically go 'Oh no!' and hold my head in my hands. I look up and, well, you can guess the rest!
