Millwall Sign Derry and Marshall Thursday, 8th Aug 2013 14:39
Saturday’s opponents Millwall have signed one-time Blues target Shaun Derry on a month’s loan from QPR, while former Town keeper Andy Marshall has rejoined the Lions on a short-term contract.
Marshall has returned to the Den, where he played between 2004 and 2006, following his three-year spell at Portman Road.
The 38-year-old comes in as cover with first-choice David Forde — a player Town were understood to be interested in over the summer — having undergone knee surgery.
Marshall, who was recently featured in TWTD’s Ex-Files, is likely to be on the bench at Portman Road with Stephen Bywater, coincidentally an ex-Town loanee, starting.
Meanwhile, Celtic, Hull City and Town are reported to be keeping tabs on Danish international striker or winger Martin Braithwaite, who is currently with Esbjerg.
The 22-year-old of Guyanese descent came through the ranks at his hometown club and had played for Denmark at U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels before winning his so-far only full cap against Georgia in June.

Didn't realise Marshall still played. Lovely how people still can't forgive him for previously playing for Norwich, and continue to talk about how rubbish he was when he actually he was probably one of the top goalies in the country at that time before similar 'fans' destroyed his confidence totally.
Looks like a wide player prepared to run at players and with enough ability to beat them as well as scoring some goals and being able to defend. Nothing spectacular on there but some promising aspects. Only thing is the question of how representative this is and what level he is playing at.
