Town After Flag Ideas

Town are after fans’ ideas for a number of flags they plan to place around Portman Road.

The 8ft x 5ft flags will be displayed throughout the ground with the club keen for supporters get involved in the design process.

Joint-managing director Ian Milne told the club site: “We are putting this to the fans. We want to hear what ideas you have and what you want to see.”

Email stadiumflags@itfc.co.uk with your ideas before the deadline of Saturday 22nd February.

Meanwhile, the banners designed by TWTD Message Boarders earlier in the season are close to taking their place at Portman Road.

Forget the flags & banners, PLEASE change the 'Welcome to Ipswich' sign that was of Chopra at the train station, but upon him leaving had Bluey's cartoon head stuck over the top! It's embarrassing for Town fans getting off the train so God knows what away fans think! If ITFC are worried about putting a player up there who might then go on and leave, one of Sir Bobby or one of the FA cup / Europe side would suffice? It's cost the club more to cut out a giant sticker of Bluey's head to the correct proportions than print off a better poster!
