Tuesday, 16th Sep 2014 13:18

Academy midfielder Jack Willbye has joined Ryman League Premier Division Bury Town on a month’s loan.

The 18-year-old, who is in the third year of a scholarship, is set to make his Bury debut in this evening’s home game against Billericay Town.

Willbye won last season’s League Football Education Goal of the Season award for his strike in the FA Youth Cup tie against Sunderland.

Got to see willbye play yesterday at his debut, and you could see the tactical skill that he had. The manager is already raving about him, and you can tell this is the start for him! He did some very fast runs when needed, and passed the ball skilfully. He is most definitely first team material!
