Fraser in Team of the Week
Thursday, 14th Jan 2016 11:09

Winger Ryan Fraser has been named in the Sky Bet Football League Team of the Week for his performance during Tuesday’s 2-1 home victory over Leeds United.

The on-loan AFC Bournemouth man provided the crosses for both Town’s goals in a superb second-half display.

The Scotland U21 international also netted the Blues’ somewhat fortuitous late equaliser in the 2-2- FA Cup draw with Portsmouth, the fifth goal of his season-long loan.

We're really seeing what we missed while he was injured now, aren't we?
Just imagine where we could've been had he been fit all season. I don't think it's a coincidence we had a blip in form while he was out. Let's hope he stays fit the rest of the season.

I see that Mills got the left back spot. Shows class is permanent.

Agreed. Class act. He runs like Messi as he is so small with a very low centre of gravity. This is one benefit the shorter player has, quicker to turn and more agile.

IF we do get promoted he IMO is a must buy!

Fraser on loan for a year with no recall + Pitman + £8m is really starting to make that Mings deal even better. Credit to everyone involved, if you're going to lose a bright young asset like Mings, that's the way to do it!

You're not wrong Hoppy, on the plus side hopefully he's fresh and hungry for the 2nd half of the season when opposition full backs with 30/40 games under their belt are starting to tire. If Bishop can provide a similar catalyst we could be on to something.

Presumably in Stewart and Parr Mick has free'd up some funds for an addition, perhaps on loan?

Say no more than the touch, close control and one hell of a cross for a 92nd minute winner #classact

mickeyjb-The way he is playing I don't think Eddie Howe would let him go bearing in mind he recently signed an extended contract at Bournemouth.Suppose we might have a chance if they were relegated and us promoted.

I still think like JAS that ITFC should make a marquee signing whilst the transfer window is open, somebody who is similar in style to Ryan,ie Jonny Williams, in case of his injury this season, and departure next

........ no surprise there - shame for us is he is almost certain to be doing the business for Bournemouth next season again, rather than us.

Total class act for sure & hopefully he'll stay fit for rest of season. We certainly missed him badly whilst out injured. He's without doubt one of our best players, just wish he was fully ours! Love for Didz & Bish to be back fit now but they could struggle to get back in side. Plus sadly Didz has become a right sick note over last few seasons!
