Southern League Programme Up for Auction
Southern League Programme Up for Auction
Wednesday, 2nd Nov 2016 11:53

A programme from Town’s Southern League game against Bath City at Portman Road on February 19th 1938, the Blues’ final season as a non-league side, will go under the hammer at Martlesham auctioneers Lockdales on November 19th.

At the end of the 1937/38 season, Scott Duncan’s Town were elected into Football League Third Division South with Gillingham dropping out. The lot has a guide price of £80 to £90.

Back in the day, reserve games at Portman Road also justified a full match programme.

The programme from the Town versus Tottenham Hotspur Football Combination match from September 8th 1951 is also included in the auction with a £20 to £25 catalogue guide price.
