Skipper Set to Stay With Town
Tuesday, 31st Jan 2017 18:20

TWTD understands that Town skipper Luke Chambers is set to stay with the Blues, despite interest from his former club Nottingham Forest.

Talks between the clubs have been ongoing for much of the day but the 31-year-old will be remaining at Portman Road.

Get in!! A right back he might not be, but he's a decent CB and captain. Feel sorry for him being played out of position for so long. Now offer him a new deal

Somewhere his agent is just patting himself on the back whilst booking a trip to St Moritz...

Who would want to go to Forest at the moment? Total shambles.

If Chambo wants to go, then us not agreeing a deal with Forest may not be such a good thing, time will tell

Great news now let's sign a bloody striker

Thank goodness for that!!! Not the best CB in the championship set not the best right back but quite possibly the best captain - heard on his sleeve natural leader. Perhaps it was all fabricated to upset those "chambers out" who quite suddenly decided without him the end is neigh?

This was probably a smoke screen let's make the fans feel grateful that we have kept chambers and hopefully they will forget about the urgent need for a striker.

Interesting to see if MM will be on the phone during the match organising a last minute transfer. If he gets a red card after some innocuious incident, I'd smell a rat!!!
