Change of Charity on Back of Shirts Friday, 3rd May 2019 14:56 Town have announced that the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) name will be replaced on the back of the club’s shirts next season after two years. The Blues introduced the addition of a charity’s name to the back of their shirts in 2017 with EACH the first to be given the honour. Further to that once Town were sponsored by betting website Magical Vegas the EACH logo was added to the front of children’s shirts with proceeds from sales going to the charity with the club set to present EACH with a cheque for £2,613.41 before Sunday’s game against Leeds. Despite their name no longer appearing on the club’s shirts the link-up between the Blues and EACH will continue in other ways."" “It’s been fantastic featuring on Ipswich Town shirts over the last two seasons,” Graham Butland, chief executive of EACH, told the club site. “It’s obviously given us great exposure and helped raise awareness of our service for children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and their families, across the region. ""“I’m really pleased the club’s support will continue in other ways, such as the upcoming zip slide at Portman Road.”"" Town will announce the name of the new charity whose name will appear on the back of the next season’s shirts later in the month.
