Crowe Named in England U18s Squad
Monday, 13th May 2019 16:53

Young right-back Dylan Crowe has been named in the England U18 squad for the Slovakia Cup later this month.

Crowe, 18, has previously won four caps for England U18s, having also played for England at U15, U16 and U17 levels.

England face Russia on May 20th, the hosts the following day, then Mexico on May 23rd before finals day.

Crowe is still to be secured on a contract having been linked with clubs at home and abroad over the last year or so with manager Paul Lambert having recently said that talks are continuing.

“No, I don’t think so at the minute,” he said when asked if there was any progress. “I think [general manager of football operations] Lee [O’Neill] is dealing with that one at the minute. I’m pretty sure Lee will sort that one way or another.”

What does PL mean ‘sort it one way or another ‘ ? – of course he will ,but with the season over I'd expect a much more constructive pointer from our Manager .
I'd hazard a guess that particularly right now , lots at ITFC is in doubt ,that uncertainty and a lack of established direction are either causing ,or revealing grey clouds , misty horizons and a bit of a fog over judgements and public decisions .
It's to be expected ,but the sooner we come out the other side and move on with positivity the better !

Must have something about him to be playing at this level surely worth keeping

Is it a case of us keeping him or him simply having his head turned by the richer mega clubs who will simply load him out until his early 20's before selling him on?
