Town stalwart Mickey Stockwell will not be offered a new contract by Town. The Town veteran made 610 appearances for the club and will be a face sadly missed at Portman Road. Stockwell joined Town in 1981 and had a testimonial in 1994. There have already been rumours of Colchester interest, but Mickey says he is going away for a few days to consider his future. He is likely to interest managers in Division One and Division Two. TWTD would like to salute Mickey's contribution to ITFC over the years. Without doubt he will go down as a true Portman legend with the right attitude to the game, the supporters and the club. Good luck with everything you do from here.
