Duo in Team of the Week

Blues keeper Christian Walton and left-back Leif Davis have been named in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Week.

Walton saved a Dion Charles penalty at a crucial stage of Saturday’s 2-0 win at Bolton Wanderers, while Davis picked up an assist by sending over the corner from which Cameron Burgess headed home the second goal.

The pair are named in the divisional select XI for the second week running having been among six Town players - plus manager Kieran McKenna - included following the 4-0 home win against Burton Albion.

Walton is also named in the overall EFL Team of the Week.

How Morsy didn't get in both teams is a mystery. In my opinion that was his best performance in a Town shirt against Bolton. Top class. These teams and the player selection will always be a mystery.

Well I suppose it'd be embarrassing if Town kept filling the “ Tram of the week” with all our players every week. Gotta give the other clubs a chance . Well played Walton / Davis 👍👍

@SamWhite, is that the parameters they use? There was so much more to his game on Saturday than a goal or assist.
