New Kits Unveiled Saturday
Wednesday, 3rd Jul 2024 14:33

Town are set to unveil their 2024/25 home and away kits at 9.30am on Saturday morning.

The new strips will be shown for the first time on a kit reveal show on TownTV featuring Wes Burns and Leif Davis in the studio giving their thoughts on what they’ll be wearing in the campaign ahead, the Blues’ first in the Premier League in 22 years.

Additionally, there will be features on skipper Sam Morsy, former midfielders Cole Skuse and Mick Stockwell, as well as CEO Mark Ashton and head of retail operations Paul Macro.

TownTV is available to subscribers via the club website on on the official app.

Fans got a hint of what the new home shirt might look like via a photo of Omari Hutchinson posted following the forward rejoining the club on a five-year deal earlier in the week.

So having to pay to see the Launch? That stinks!

Supporters being moved

Plus also I know someone who has had a West Stand Box for many years now isn't allowed it for commercial reasons unless they're willing to pay double.

The club needs to remember who's paid their wages over the last difficult period.

I’m not sure the club have had a televised kit launch.

You decide whether it’s of value to pay for

You don't have to pay for a lot of the content, I imagine that the kit reveal will be free to view as long as you sign up.

Ericsson gate. U pay to be a member of town tv. Not for the kit launch. If you dont want to pay, sure you'll get to see pictures ofcitcwithin a matter of minutes of thd launch. So what's the issue? The club have no say in those fans who have to move. So stop moaning about it. As for the box. Really, dont think so somehow. Unless what ur talking about is that his 3 year lease on his box has finished, and it's gonna cost him more. Well of course it will. We're in the pl. Everythings more expensive in the pl.

Eric's Gate your not allowed to criticise on here you upset the happy clappers. For what it's worth i agree with you to a certain extent those having to move from their seats in the West stand and having no choice where they can sit should so completely free of charge as compensation.

@ericgates

Agree, disgusting. Cobbold boxes increased 167% and no longer allowed on a seasonal basis unless an existing customer to be more available to 'national' clients. In other words.....away fans with more cash or the highest bidder!

West Stand boxes £65k + vat for 12 seaters, £105k + vat for 20. Cup games no longer included. Less games, more money, no loyalty

Business element has overtaken the fan experience element unfortunately, and the biggest spenders at the club are punished the most.

There's an option to wait isn't there?! Surely a matter of minutes before we see it on TWTD?!

There's a price to pay for success folks, just look at the signings/potential signings and the figures attached!

We've waited 22 years to see a Prem kit, so I'm OK with waiting a little longer until I can see it for free.

Some people value quality over quantity. Yes, few games available to those taking a box, but they will be watching some of the top teams in Europe on a regular basis now that we're bringing EPL games to Portman road after so many years of dross.

If you don't want to pay it, then don't, and let those that do value the quality and opportunity, buy those Box. I suspect they won't have any unsold.

As for the kit reveal, it's promoted as early access to TownTV subscribers - how is that a problem?

Anyone who didn't expect this type of thing is either stupid or naive. Would they prefer the club still to be in League 1? Sorry but get real!

Linkboy13.Fans being moved in west stand we're given a choice of where they want to move to. But yes, was a deadline for them to let thr club know. Of course thered be a limited number of places they could move to, bcse of allxthexseasintickests being sold. But to say they had no choice is incorrect.

Show me the money. And the kit.

Ipswichinternational. You clearly got something wrong. There's no way they'll be charging over £5000 per game per person for executive boxes. Which is what it would be for 20 people in a box at the £105k uve quoted. They simply wouldn't sell a single box at th at price. Clearly the price for a whole season.

My only wish is no orange away kit. (unlikely...)
It's the same colour as the grass for my type of colour blindness, and really makes it uncomfortable see just heads, arms and legs floating around the screen/pitch.

Wait till you see the price. That's when you know we are in the Premier league.

Am I the only one who doesn't care less about a stupid kit launch?

They change the design in the minutest of ways so we all think we have to go out and buy yet another kit. It's a con whatever way you dress it up. (all clubs do it I know!)

I couldn't care less what they play in whether it be a 3 piece suit or their bloody pyjamas as long as the shirts are blue and the shorts are white!

History of our kits going back to the '70's:
https://www.footballkitarchive.com/ipswich-town-kits/

I'm sure unpopular, but my fav will always be like our home kit in '93 '94, but I did like last years home kit too.

Anyone know when it will be available to buy? Monday I assume?

ipswichinternational added 21:29 - Jul 3
Blues1 - yes obviously for a season, anyone who thinks that is per game would be incredibly deluded.

Cup games haven’t been included since 21/22 season

are we allowed to get "old" (the one they wore three months ago...) shirts printed still, even though it'll now feature Premier League style numbering? I was reluctant to get a name on the back because I didn't like the EFL style numbering, but wondering if I can now get the best of both... the orange away kit with Prem numbering - delightful!
