Town Set For Palace Friendly

Town are set to play a behind-closed-doors friendly against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The Blues have routinely played friendly matches during international breaks over the years.

The Eagles are 18th in the Premier League table, one place and one point behind Town.

He can't have many 1st team players about due to internationals though. Giving the back up squad some mins then.

Hopefully Harry Clarke will get some minutes. We need more options in that RB slot with Axel out.

This seems a good idea. Give some of our regulars from last season some valuable minutes and confidence. We're going to need them all at some point over the coming months.

For all the bleating about too many games the fact is that the bottom third of the table don't play enough games. Football really is in mess.
