Thanks for the memories PJH.. I too was there as a fifteen year old, travelling by train from Haverhill, catching the 8.45 to Marks Tey and then onward to Ipswich. We all seemed to be in the west stand and I remember climbing the wall onto the packed pitch after the game. Unforgettable day and achievement, Ray Crawford my all time hero who I have been lucky enough to meet at PR during his many visits. I will also be shedding a tear or two watching from the Magnes upper tomorrow, with thoughts of all the wonderful times I have had with family and friends supporting this great club of ours. |

I will always be grateful too the fans at Burton who turned to him and chanted "should we pick the team for you" It was the beginning of the end for him, and from that moment he turned on the fans. He was complicit with Evans with the sole aim to keep us in the championship. He had no ambition other than to take a good salary. There was no pressure on him to get promotion or to compete in cups, it suited him 100%. He is now where he belongs, on the dole, no doubt counting his money and laughing at us mugs who put up with him for far to long. |

Great reading for us but heart felt from you. I am getting on in years and have probably gone through many of your emotions. My sincere advice to you is commitment. Whether it is taking a new job, having a mortgage, getting hitched, having children or, instead, being free to do what you want when you want to. It appears to me that Paula knows that time is not on her side to have a child and security, you can provide that for her. Your parents want their son to be settled and be looked after. In their eyes Paula was just that person. Being selfish is not a sin but committing to something that you are not 100% sure of is. Life is full of compromise and the older we get, the more set in our ways we become, the harder it may be to compromise. If you are not fully committed the consequences can be dire. You are a good person and my best wishes go with you. |

I agree that he comes over rather dour and therefore not the most inspirational manager to fans and maybe players. I wish him well as he also comes over as a genuinely nice person and still one of us. I am even more puzzled by the antics of the Goblin and Stoke, they deserve each other. |

Certainly not moaning. Chaplin scored a great goal but did little else from where I was sitting in block Q Magners Stand. His disribution in the final third was poor which resulted in our attacks breaking down. Ladapo, JJ and Chaplin were ineffective and as Pointofblue stated let's hope KM takes note. |

Agree with all this plus Chaplin was also misfiring today. Yes some lessons learnt, sloppy defending, Morsy and Evans cotrolled midfield, flashes of class from Burns. I am eagerly waiting for the announcement of a new striker who can challenge defenders in the air. I don't think our strikers won a single aerial ball until Harness came on. Promising last 20 minutes. |

Let's put some fractious figures together. Harness valued at £1.2M. Pigott's wages until June' 23, £500,000..00 (the loan fee) We get Harness for £700,000.00 and have offloaded Pigott, who will not be able to play against us, being a loan. Pompey get a striker, all sounds perfect to me. |

Actually I am quite content, especially when I upset the Thicko's that are unable to differentiate between Football and General |

Certainly no offence aimed your way. I feel that the only way the politically motivated posters on here get "air time" is when they intentionally post in the football section. If one dares to have a different viewpoint, all hell is let loose. Like an earlier poster remarked, many good people have stopped posting over the years due to the abuse they received. |

Post it in the GENERAL section or is that to hard for you to understand? |

When will all the thicko's on here realise that there are TWO forums, General and Football. One day they will realise that nobody gives a s*it about their opinions and who the next PM is. Leave it on the GENERAL forum so that you can all agree amongst yourselves and the rest of us can speculate on who the next signing will be. |

How do you perform when you are serving notice? There are two sets of players at the Club, 1) guaranteed to be at the club next season, 2) those whos loans and contracts are due to expire. At present KM has to pick a team combining the two. A number of players must feel that they will not be here next season, and, I suspect, feel disallusioned and therefore less motivated. With a manager here for a full season with his own players, only then, IMO, can we make reasoned judgement. |
