It would have made a great away shirt. That tape on sleeves is just great - an itfc design classic

It looks like this person at Wembley is wearing it, so I’m really confused as I don’t ever remember it the team wearing it.

Hi,

I was looking at old kits last night and purchased this on eBay last night. Does anyone remember it?

Is it a prototype? It seems odd that it would have the Wembley 2000 embroidery though?

My most favourite top. I got it off this guy on Ebay.

He always seems to have lots from this era on Ebay from his stockroom, mainly kids sizes though. He seems to have trouble spelling Ipswich on some of his listings though - Ipswicn

I'm a big fan of bench wear, or generally anything with long sleeves, and I also really like that Kappa-esqe Punch logo. I find it much more wearable than the actual shirts.

I was lucky enough to pick one of these drill tops that Mr Taricco is wearing.

I think this shirt is great too - but a tad pricey.

If anyone has any Ipswich Umbro Drill tops for sale let me know - size Medium or Small...

Something not quite right about it.

We’ve got our Ipswich back....
at 13:15 16 Nov 2018

How so?

What even is 'our Ipswich'. Is it the same as my Ipswich? Is it different to your Ipswich? What if I don't want your Ipswich to be the same as my Ipswich.

I'm confused.

Yawn! The money has gone in loan fees, signing on fees, improved contracts and general running costs.

MASSIVE squad
at 20:41 2 Sep 2018

I pretty much agree with the OP.

MM knew how to build a team and squad, and at the moment PH looks as though he is doing a very good PJ impression on the recruitment side of things.

I'm a fan of small, settled, competitive squads of 22, with a few young kids bubbling between U23 and the match day squad as and when injuries and suspensions take hold.

At the moment, we have lots of loan players and players who are inexperienced at this level.

I hear you, but at the moment I don't think PH knows his best team, who he wants in his squad nor is able to change his approach depending on the players he has.

It's difficult to gel when there are more than 3 changes in the starting line-up for each game (albeit some have been enforced).

This is exacerbated when you have 3 players going straight into the team who haven't played much this season for their parent clubs, and who would have had next to zero chance of getting to know any of their new team mates, surroundings, style of play or whats required of them.

At the moment I'm hoping that everything does gel, but its a long season in an unforgiving league. Still its the international break next week, so hopefully we can work on getting a win at Hull.

My take on Waghorn (not that anyone cares)
at 17:34 22 Jul 2018

We should certainly wait until we have a replacement in.

It also means we don't get done over by the club we are buying from as they see we have just received some money.

The Blunts have recently received 11m for Brooks, so it would be silly to not to push for more and as the transfer window draws to a close they'll be desperate.

Wait... what... there's a link between Islamic extremism and terrorism? Have you called MI5 about this? I think they should know.

Anyway, congrats for marching against extremism. Glad you feel that strongly about it and I look forward to seeing you lot march against the EDL and Britain First.

It's quite sad how many players we have signed over this time and how many have actually made an impact.

I do wonder how many cheap punts it takes to fund a decent player though. But i do accept, that the squad has been thin on the ground, but this is partly due to the cheap punts not being and good and them being released year on year, so we need more cheap punts to fill the wholes left by the previous cheap punts.

I'd rather we sign a decent player on a 3 year deal, than 5 cheap punts on a one year deal.

Nope. The money is non-transferable. It's take it or leave it.
