| News Comment | Suspended Sentence for Edwards at 11:48:45
Some time ago, I was the father of a 2lb baby, born in a Cambridge hospital, while I was living in Ipswich. Believe me, that is a frightening experience to endure. I am relieved for all concerned that Carlos was not sent down. Now he needs to show respect for the law, and the community in general, and not do such an idiotic thing again. A wake-up call, Carlos. |

I hate negativity. jas0999 - time to look up the AI40 for your footie. We're better of without moaners here. |
| News Comment | Town Turn Down Blackpool Offer for Scotland at 16:01:48
I don't want to see Scotland leave. If he'd have been given better service here, he'd have scored a lot more goals. He's looking a lot leaner now, and Saturday's turn round was due in no small way to him coming off the bench. If Chops gets injured, we'll need him! |
| News Comment | Andrews Enjoying Time With Town at 11:37:06
Keith was very poorly treated at Blackburn, after being tainted by his association with Paul Ince's failure there. If he's happy here, I think he'll stay. He's a very good quality Championship player - the future will take care of itself, so long as we don't let him slip through our fingers like Gareth McAuley. |
| News Comment | Sonko Deal Close at 16:01:37
I still want to know who was responsible for letting McAuley go.... |
| News Comment | Jewell Slams Martin\'s Disciplinary Record at 15:55:17
Frustration - that's probably all it was, BUT everyone knows that such tackles inevitably end up with a red card - witness Trotter v Pompey a year or two back. That tackle was innocuous compared with LM's on Saturday, but the 3 match ban stood. Players let their team-mates and the fans down when they get themselves sent off by letting their hearts rule their heads. |
| News Comment | Jewell Slams Martin\'s Disciplinary Record at 15:33:52
Well said ITFCOYB. At last some good sense. I will however, as is my right as a season ticket holder, NOT be clapping the players on to the pitch on Saturday. I encourage everyone else to greet the team with silence to try to get over to these overpaid primma donnas that performances like last Saturday are inexcusable, and will neither be forgiven or forgotten. Once the whistle blows however, let's give the Club all the support we can muster. COYB |
| News Comment | Jewell: Offer in to Premier League Club at 11:40:59
When is someone going to stand up and admit that it was their fault that we let McCauley go? Loyal fans, spending their hard-earned cash, have a right to know who got us in this position. Mr Clegg - I'm waiting...... |
| News Comment | Kennedy: Players Need to Look at Themselves at 14:00:47
Kennedy should be skipper - he is a leader - you can hear him on the pitch. Neither comment applies to Leadbitter, who has clearly lost his way since being told to clean up his act on the pitch by of all people, Roy Keane! Yes, the players should re-imburse the travelling fans. If they are not willing to do so, fine every one of them a month's pay. |
| News Comment | Town Face Tribunal Over Cresswell at 14:26:48
guess he's the reason we letting O'Connor go......? Personally, I would have liked to have seen both on the left, going forward and covering one another! |
| News Comment | Clegg: Town Targeting Two at 13:51:31
Got a pal who is a Blackburn season ticket holder - quote "he's been very badly treated by the fans, given his limitations and association with Ince. Not his fault he was signed, and should never boo your own. Industrious, but not a premier league player" |
| News Comment | Jewell Makes New Striker Bid at 16:41:19
We need a modern day Frank Clarke/Ian Marshall/Alan Lee - none of them great players, but all made things happen in the box! Then we can be sure Chopra will get 20 goals, minimum! |
