Corbyn, has he peaked? 11:55 - Jun 12 with 16127 viewshype313

Just wonder whether this was the best chance Jezzer had to get the keys to number 10? With the Tories having a complete clusterf*ck of a campaign with the worst leader in history, you do wonder if that was Corbyn's best chance?

The Tories were on the ropes, staggering around, blood pouring everywhere and now they have a chance to get back to the corner to re-group,I just wonder if Corbyn has peaked and it's only downhill from here.

This election reminds me of the recent Joshua/Klitchsco fight, Vlad floored him but didn't go in for the kill and then got battered himself and lost, can see a correlation between the two.

That's fair although the weekend did seem to see some of the PLP coming back into the fold admitting that Corbyn had done a good job. I'd agree and say that he probably has one more chance.

It's been my contention for a while that politicians are fairly pragmatic creatures and if they see something they didn't fancy working they'll put up and shut up. Hence why large parts of the party were acting up prior to the election, given that his performances in both parliament and on the campaign trail(referendum and by-elections) hadn't given them any cause to do so.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

You're the one swerving. Why don't you go read what was written and come back when you are willing to actually address that rather than what you want to be written.

Right then luv you said;

Pretty rich from Clive Lewis considering he was on manoeuvres to challenge Corbyn for the leadership before May called the snap election.

Well you cant prove the hypothetical situation, thats the point of a discussion.

You want proof, but you keep referring to OPINION polls.

It was obvious that the young would turn out and vote in their droves for labour. The polls were clearly off the mark.

You've not disagreed.

What you've done is ignore the figure I've given supporting that argument and then decided that it's actually more important to talk about Corbyn and the figure he got ignoring the obvious intersection between the two data sets which supports the view that there are many centrist Labour supporters.

We clearly won't agree so I suggest we leave it there and we can both have our own viewpoints.
