It’ll be interesting to see how many games Skuse will play next season if the new manager has a totally different footballing philosophy to MM.
Depending where MM next job is maybe he’ll make a bid for Skuse.
It is a tough one. Part of me thinks he is going to be the glue that holds us together and protects the class in front of him, huws, bishop, nydam but part of me thinks that will hold Dozzell and Downes back. We surely need an older head and some balance and he is perfect for that job.
Celina isn't over-rated because most fans know he's not a world-beater but will show flashes of class that can change a game, hence why when we needed a bit of class or quality late on in games, people wanted him on the pitch.
I've said this before, but there is not a winger who isn't world class that is consistently changing games. Wingers have good games and off games. Wingers try things in games that don't work and they try things that do an create an opportunity. He's 21 years old.

Personally I hope Adeyemi gets and stays fit, I think he could do Skuses defensive work AND offer in attack too. Skuses old head would be good in there at times, he’ll have a role to play still

I've resigned myself to him not playing more than 8 games for us again. I am praying that huws stays injury free and so does bishop.
Adeyemi is more box to box than sit and read like skuse. I like the idea that Dozzell will sit like pirlo

All depends if MM was indeed restricting Skuse from venturing forward and contributing more attacking wise. And we will only know this from how he plays under the new manager. I think a more attack minded manager may well demand more of Skuse going forward.
Mick seemed to be tough on attacking players who didn’t track back but didn’t seem to employ this toughness on Skuse who failed to venture forward.
Interesting times ahead.

Didnt Didier Deschamps only score about 15/16 goals in about 500? Donkey water carrier...
Yeah but that's still about three times better than Skuse. Most defensive mids get at least 1 or 2 a season plus some assists. E.g. Kante, xhaka, fernandhino or even Tettey from them up the road. Skuse unfortunately does not.
I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton
