Emergency film recommendation 22:34 - Jul 13 with 1962 viewsLord_Lucan

Just decided to sit and laze and want to watch a decent film in a hurry - an old classic perhaps.

Was gonna watch The Big Lebowski (sp) but it's £5.99.

Fargo is an option and for nix but I'll give my brothers 12 mins for suggestions, this will take me up to 22.45 and my frozen lamb shanks will be done to perfection.

Reservoir Dogs, just to see how dated it seems, must be at least 25years old, scary.

Good call.

I'd also recommend Three billboards for Coen brothers-level quality.

Thank you all.

To comment on your valued suggestions.

Naked Lunch - wow!! I actually watched that on acid without realising what it was about. One of the strangest moments of my life.

Snowman - I presume you mean Falcon and the Snowman? I watched it for the 67th time last week.

Billboards - Trust you Koont, another so called brilliant film that wasn't brilliant and lacked an ending. It wasn't clever enough to lack an ending.

Disagree Lucan, I thought the ending of Billboards was very clever. Have a read of this ...

Have a watch of 'Cool Hand Luke' ... Continually brilliant every time and I've watched it about as many times as you've watched 'The Falcon and the Snowman;

If you don't mind subtitles, 'City of God'.
One if the best gangster films you'll ever see. It's like repeatedly being punched in the gut
