This. The programme is fine imo. We play along and see if we can beat the teams. It is not rocket science or cutting edge, but I cannot see why anyone would be offended by it.

I have seen it a few times in recent years and it is a fairly sorry show these days, not naturally as funny as in it's heyday. Many of the guests don't seem to care whether they win or not. And with Dawson and Tuffnell leaping around miming words........I don't know what Emlyn Hughes and Bill Beaumont would have thought of that idea!

Strangely I put it on last night for ten minutes or so. Couldn’t get one answer - back in the good old days I would have been angry to get one wrong.

Always remember if a bowling question came up you just had to decide if you went for Tony Alcock or David Bryant. And squash - shall we go for Jahangir or Jansher Khan ???

Oh and we were a good team back then.

Sigh....
