Thought we were ok today, 5 days in charge, Preston are a dangerous team, a lot of good championship quality and we were better than them today, red card worked against us, Preston were the better team after they went down to 10 men.
Roberts was a handful today, not technically gifted but a physical presence we lacked, well done to Lambert for putting him in. With Sears and Edwards flanking him we looked quite effective.
Love the passion Lambert showed on the touchline, absolutely brilliant. Really liked to see that.
Have to remember this squad inherited is full of League 1 and League 2 players, we do lack real quality and obviously will until January but that isn't Lambert's fault.
We are obviously in danger of going down and may well, but after that have full faith that Lambert can rebuild ITFC.
We will play a lot worse teams that Preston this year, 100% in a false position. Players like: Johnson, Browne, Robinson, Gallagher, Barkhuizen, Maguire, Nmecha are all really really good players and no doubt will be finishing around 10th.

Brilliant manager, began Norwich recent success from League 1 when he went there. Two years later they were in the premier league. Need to make a few additions to squad in January but he knows that. A great manager and will be a great success at the club im sure. | |

Took a bit of reinforcement to get us safe then, too. Plus that squad got thrashed 5-0 and 6-0 within the first four games after changing manager. Need to see how the project progresses. |  |

Media duties by the club captain, they don't get to choose who gives the interview, its just a different person each week. He isn't going to come out and slate teams by stating the team in 2012 was better.
