As well as helping to escalate transfer fees to a level above ridiculous.
One of the few things I agreed with MM was his opinion that a player who was worth two million a few years ago is now worth ten-fifteen million simply because of improved deals with sky etc. The actual quality hasn’t improved drastically only the sums owners are willing to spend on reaching the promised land of the premier league. |  | | |

This could actually be negative for us. More money for other clubs to play in the casino. How will Evans look at it? A bonus to the transfer fund? Doubt it. A bonus to help keep hold of our best players? Wouldn't count on it. A bonus to help us be 'self sustaining' and allow him to maintain the current budget while having to cover lower losses?
If it's the latter we could be in an even worse position. |  |
