Fantastic interview. 12:19 - Jan 23 with 5022 views | MrTown | Speaks the truth. Have said whilst I don’t agree with pricing structure, the majority of transfer business this window has been good, a good appointment long term in Lambert, match day deals etc. Could do a lot worse with owners.

Fantastic interview. on 16:00 - Jan 23 by braveblue | 1. It was not an interview. Scripted press release. 2. Proper interviewer would have asked why he let Didz and Webster go. 3. Was the £5m profit in player fees not the wrong thing to do when we were losing our best players? 4. He thinks his plan is good. After 10 years we are being relegated. Priceless. |
He let McGoldrick go because he was expensive to keep missed about two and half seasons through injury and when he came back was pretty useless. Webster whilst having enormous potential was also out injured and ME made a good profit on him. Which when you consider the statement with regard to being competitive in this League it doesn't really add up as we always sell our best players and won't pay the going rate for ones we want to get in. Another amazing thing is how injury prone players leave us and bingo they are regulars in their new clubs and as with McGoldrick he's scored 7 goals so far and couldn't hit a barn door when he was with us.

Fantastic interview. on 17:01 - Jan 23 by Superfrans | In the appointment of all three of these managers, they were not utterly misguided decisions and were supported by a lot of supporters - the only real objection to Keane was his perceived personality. Jewell might have gone a month earlier, but that's it. Only hindsight says otehrwsie. Similarly Keane, but we were in the SFs of the league cup when he left, it was hard to justify kicking him out sooner. |
History says they were bad appointments, that has nothing to do with the fans. Whether they were for the right or wrong reason doesn’t really come into, they were all poor appointments.

Fantastic interview. on 14:20 - Jan 23 by davblue | Keane, Jewell, Hurst. All bad appointments Evans made those decisions. I think in some instances he's backed the manager too long, Jewell's last few months were an utter shambles and he should have gone quicker. |

What does that matter? They were bad appointments, that’s a fact, Evans appointed them that’s a fact. Cheers!

It matters because only goons think that being wise after the event is any kind of wisdom at all.
