The replies pretty much sum it up. They arent there to ensure that everyone has a great day. They will herd and march people left right and centre, close pubs, etc etc. Amended to say that I am sure that the intent, at some level, is genuine- but the reality of how they go about it doesnt contribute to anyone's day... I still feel resentful about the last game i went to there, where I had stayed in the City overnight, had a car parked at a Hotel, and was nevertheless marched to the station and ended up havign a substantial "discussion" with a police constable before finally being able to avoid being shoved on a train. Similarly my last experience at PR involved a policeman agressively pushing a growling dog at me, for unwittingly walking too close. [Post edited 29 Jan 2019 20:15]

Should have given it a gentle toe poke in the nadgers, that tends to calm them down fairly quickly. And then turned to the dog and offered it a couple of Quavers or whatever savoury treats you happened to have stashed in your pockets.

No they just didn't put a space before it, that's why it's not linked. Impressive, really, as if they'd put the space it would have suggested it

Why do you read tweets like that? They are hardly going to say "we will be a*seholes and treat the Ipswich fans like criminals, not let them go in any pubs, march them to the ground where they will have their tickets checked out" are they?
