The drummer/singer from Snuff, Duncan, is a big Ipswich fan. They had a release suitable for Mick McCarthy era ITFC, ‘Long Ball To No One’.
I don't personally know any of the band but my mate is good friends with Monkey.

I've not heard him being much of a gobshyte. His music is competent and popular, and vastly better than the endless over produced autotuned rubbish which fills the hit parade these days.
Its not for me, but I think you are being harsh. An odd looking ginger lad making it in music as he has, must have something in an age of boy bands and manufactured artists.
My biggest criticism of him is that cra ppy guitar he insists on playing.
