That was my thinking. Impossible in a month. It'd be difficult enough on a motorbike. I cycled John O'Groats back to Ipswich a few years back, we took about an 850 mile route, it took a fortnight with one rest day, on decent enough roads (at the time) in very pleasant weather, with no bandits, no guns, and no scary wildlife (a couple of odd people in Inverness aside). I'd trained for months and months and was still completely knackered at the end of it. |  | | |

Fergal is capable of doing it. He did about 3000 miles on a tall ship in 4 days, so this would be a piece of cake. Not forgetting he has also swam across the Adriatic. [Post edited 26 Mar 2019 20:38]
