Winning games comes first, if Wright needs to progress he can go out on loan. |
We have Bart for winning games. No point Gerks playing Chekatrade trophy (whatever it's called now) or league cup games. Bart's barely been injured in his whole time here and his loss of form arguably from most shouldn't have been dropped.
We don't need three keepers. If we do, go to the loan market. Wright will learn a lot more and will progress a lot quicker being around the first team squad and playing games when Bart is rested than he will playing Conference games. How many players that we've loaned to Conference clubs have come back here to progress? I can't think of too many. | |

I haven't had a drink all weekend, I was about to post the same to you.
I only skimmed the thread but I assumed people were saying that you had to be a certain height to be a decent keeper, this certainly helps massively but it doesn't mean that shorter GKs are no good.
Peter Shilton was just 6ft and he was bloody brilliant, Pat Jennings was also 6ft. Aside from possibly Peter Schmeichel I haven't seen much better than those two.
