Exeter City Report 17:30 - Jan 4 with 3942 viewsMrTown

I knew there would be some frustrated fans on here tonight, of whom I don’t know who watched the game.

There is no way we deserved to lose that match today. We eventually retained the same shape of the match prior, a 3-5-2 which was the first bonus.

Exeter offered very little throughout, we had spells of really dominating the ball and for 95% of the match looked the much better side.

We passed, we moved, at times quite intricate football, thought Dozzell was very good for large parts of the game with his passing and vision, always looking to find the killer pass. We should never have been behind, just after hitting the post ourselves.

Our goal fantastically worked and beautifully finished by Keane. I would say a lot more positives than negatives - Kenlock, Dozzell, Holy, Bishop and Keane were sharp.

Only negative was Nsiala who was frankly awful.

Just like your "facts".

I'm not calling you a liar, but every South West type I've spoken to or seen on Twitter says it was awful even talk of worst performance of the season type stuff.

How good could we be and still lose to their second string?

WE scored 3 on Wednesday!!

and remarkably, still lost.

The only time in 6 weeks and 11 games that we have scored more than one goal, and the second one, the one that got us on the way to the goal feast, was an own goal.

Thought we looked the better side, however we did change formation from last week.

We played a 343 today with Sears and Bishop either side of Keane opposed to the 352 the week before (with Judge just behind Jackson & Norwood).

Keane starting to score could be a real positive for us in the second half though.

I thought the 3 of Sears/Keane/Bishop was very fluid, but I still think Bishop played in more of no.10 although very high in support of the front 2, as Judge did at Wycombe.
