Not sure how scientific they’ve done this to be honest.

80 points to win a division with 46 games is really bad. Without checking I think they have been some seasons where that amount would not even make the playoffs.

Good job it's 44 games this season then

Right, still not a good haul.

45 points available and they’re backing us for 26 points. Dropping 19 points is 8 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats. Even the most pessimistic fan has to look at those remaining fixtures and think those stats are nonsense.

We’d have to lose to a combination of Sunderland, Oxford, Coventry, Portsmouth and Doncaster and draw with Blackpool and Fleetwood for that to happen.

The remaining fixtures, MK Dons, Southend, Bolton, Rochdale, Wimbledon, Burton, Shrewsbury and Rovers I assume they’ve marked as our wins and rightly so.

Thing is, I can see that happening.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

We've got 21 points from the last 18 games (1.16ppg), I can't say i expect us to get 26 from the next 15 (1.73ppg) as things stand

We have been better against the worse teams in the league, but our home form has been consistently poor.

Whichever way you slice it, it's hard to see us finishing above Sunderlnad, Portsmouth, Rotherham and Coventry who all seem to be progressing.

.....Sunderland, Oxford, Coventry, Portsmouth and Doncaster are you confident that we'll win?

And even if we do, I'd say that we are more likely to lose one from MK Dons, Southend, Bolton, Rochdale, Wimbledon, Burton, Shrewsbury and Rovers.

The chasing pack have games in hand, if they win them we'll be down to about 9th.

I definitely don’t see us losing all five or taking anything less than maximum points from the canon fodder. Bristol Rovers and Shrewsbury away could be draws but I have us nearer the 80 point mark for the end of the season, not 74.
