I am pretty much convinced now... 20:29 - Mar 7 with 20245 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

...that Coronavirus mostly only rears its ugly head on cruise ships. Other than that, especially in China, it is largely contained. In other breaking news the Pope has a cold.
But who knows what I really mean?

They do seem to feature a lot atm.

I'm not sure about this approach of containment either.

I mean, if you're clear but stuck on the boat along with a few hundred others who definitely have it then you don't stand much chance do you?

Surely it's better to get them off the thing and check then over and deal with them accordingly.

But then if there's no signs and you're in the incubation period...

No easy answer is there.

Edit: also what Gordon said. I was distracted with the whole cruise thing. It is not contained.

It isn't 'largely contained.' Infections (outside of China) are growing at an exponential rate. By mid-May, almost half of Europe will have had it...

Who would have thought that when people can carry the virus without displaying symptoms that this is going to just take its course...Brass Eyetastic though!?

I have no idea what kind of half-arsed point you're trying to make right now, but 'CiL tribute act' is no way to live your life, son.

Or he had prior health conditions and a pretty nasty virus finished him off.

I'd usually agree that the media will do their best to make a story out of "new" diseases but this one is actually more serious that normal, given the way it is spreading.

You don't have enough information to make such a bold assertion.

You also fundamentally misunderstand how virus and the body works it seems. To eager to have a pop at the media rather than increase your own knowledge. It's a bit rubbish of you really.

Having something like Covid 19 will mean the patients immune system has to spend a lot of resources dealing with that attack. It settles deep in the lungs and will make other conditions worse or worsen pneumonia. He might have died of his underlying health condition but he was fine until he got Covid 19 - that was the catalyst.

So to say he didn't die of it isn't really technically correct.

It is a run of the mill virus, similar to what circles the world every year killing similar numbers, this is bullsh1t perpetuated by the media and believed by those who should know better.

Can you stop spreading fake news? There are enough resources out there for you to actually improve your knowledge rather than circulate nonsense about the forum.

Let's see your knowledge. What similar viruses circulate every year and kill similar numbers?

If you say seasonal flu then I suggest you don't post anymore on the subject as some board members might actually believe and act on your nonsense.

I think it would probably be safest for us all if we all just worked from home, fitted trackers to make sure we know who we may have infected if we accidentally stray too far and did all our shopping on the internet from now on.....you know to keep us safe, you never know when the next nasty virus might emerge!
Actually this would probably be beneficial for CO2 emissions too !
