Anyone minimising this is an eejit. The numbers of people this is taking out is staggering.

Very sad he has gone.
Not sure starting a post to a deceased person with a name calling exercise to those you disagree with is appropriate.

My favourite Goodie. He was always the funniest one. Bill Oddie was too nutty and Graeme Garden too straight.

The sentiment is right though. I know people who are still treating the lockdown like a game and thinking they are incredibly clever going out needlessly every day because they 'fancy some cookies' etc.

No amount of explaining to these cretins will work. One just asked me if petrol stations are open today. I said no. Why do they urgently need petrol, they aren't supposed to be going anywhere. They probably want an Easter egg or something.

Idiots.

Truly impaired.

One of my earliest televison memories is off him, I think. Did the Goodies do a "Jack and the Beanstalk" themed show back in early/mid 70s.

My neighbour has had a few people round...it’s crazy and what makes it worse his missus cares for the sick and elderly. Total morons. On verge of calling the police.

If the woman is a carer that's criminally irresponsible.

The Goodies was, again, one of those programmes I was allowed to 'stay up' and watch when I was a kid.

RIP Tim. 79 years.

Both the houses opposite have had family around today. One of them two branches of family in separate cars. At the same time. In addition to the other one who came yesterday.

Yes they did - and a brilliant Evita parody as well: "Don't Cry For Me, Marge and Tina"

- as well as the famous "Kitten Kong" episode..and a load more - you wouldn't think they were all Oxbridge graduates...or maybe you would...

You are the obsolete SRN4 to my Fairey Rotodyne....

I thought "Don't Cry For Me, Marge and Tina" was Lenny Henry?

Sat next to him in the clubhouse for lunch during a pro-celebrity golf event at Sunningdale in 1987.

Really lovely bloke to chat to - very down to earth.

Sad news.
