I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Stephenson who was he? I don't remember him.

i would say that Cameron Stewart & Jordan Graham were worse than Martin & Huws

Stevenson was the Scottish midfield player who came from somebody like Hearts. From little I remember of him, he looked out of his depth. I seem to remember he got homesick and never settled, but I may well be wrong on that.

Is that Carlos or Gwion at Right Back?

I’d sub out your front three for Ellington, Best and Sammon though. 1 goal between them and it was crap.

Maybe loach in goal

Re Stewart and Graham....Have they played at least 5 times for us? That was a rule of this thread.

Ryan Stevenson.....Jewells Scottish gem.

Oh yes good point they probably didn't.

I wanted to include Polish Pete, but he only made three appearances. Three too many given he looked like a bloke from the crowd who’d won a ticket to don the shirt.

I can't believe no one has included Conor Sammon. The quote from a Derby fan, I think it was in one of Harry's reports, about his ball repellant shin pads was very apt.

I've forgotten most of the terrible players who've somehow found their way into Town's books over the last 11 or 12 years. There must be 50 of them. One I do remember was Toure, remember him? Leon Best was no good, apparently he looked like Drogba when he was on trial.

Danny Higginbotham was well past it when he was at Town. However the worst must be Nathan Ellington. He was great at Wigan with Jason Roberts but by the time he rocked up at PR it was time to hang up the boots.

What was Drogba on trial for?

'The Duke' is a lucky man to not be on that list.

We've had so much crap over ME's time, it's almost impossible to pin it down to an 11.

You could probably lob Rory Fallon and/Sylvan Ebanks-Blake in there

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

How about Dwight Yorke, he was so washed up he might as well of put Fairy Liquid in his boots! And Stern John, he'd scored about 1 goal in 40 something games (and that was probably a penalty!) when we got him and he was put in the team ahead of Rhodes or Wickham if I recall! The lean and very mean Roy Keane machine still gives me nightmares to this day!

I think there were rumours linking Yorke to Ipswich when Keane first joined us although that was a surprise at the time given the infamous text Keane sent to Yorke after he left Sunderland.

I genuinely remember reading an article about linking us to a young Jordan Henderson whilst he was at Sunderland also

We were linked with loads of Sunderland players, Dean Whitehead would have been another

Big big hype when he joined.

When Keane was here some people even jokingly called us Sunderland reserves for a while! :-(
